Search for places, lights, buoys, and chart features from the search bar in the header. Use Visible Area to find nav aids on screen (e.g. "G 9"), or Everywhere to search globally by name.
Click and drag to move the chart. Use the scroll wheel or pinch to zoom in and out. This is the default tool.
Click anywhere on the chart to get its latitude and longitude. You can also type coordinates into the input field and press Enter to jump to that location. Supports decimal degrees, degrees-minutes, and DMS formats.
Select the Draw tool to open the sub-panel with shape modes:

Routes persist when switching tools — switch to Pan or Info and your route stays on the chart.
Click on any chart feature to identify it. Shows detailed information about buoys, lights, beacons, depth areas, wrecks, obstructions, and other S-57 ENC features including their characteristics and attributes.
Toggle NOAA Coast Pilot markers on the chart. These provide detailed navigation guidance, harbor descriptions, anchorage information, and local knowledge from the official U.S. Coast Pilot publications. Zoom in to see markers.
Opens a reference guide showing all chart symbols used on NOAA ENC charts, including lateral marks, daybeacons, cardinal marks, lights, hazards, depth markings, and shoreline features.
Configure distance units (NM, km, miles), coordinate format, bearing reference, chart layer visibility and opacity, vessel draft and safety depth, speed for route time estimates, and boat name.
Centers the chart on your current position using your device's GPS. Your location is shown with a blue marker and accuracy circle. Tap again to re-center if you've panned away. Located in the bottom-right corner of the map.

Depth soundings on NOAA charts are displayed in feet for U.S. waters. This is set by NOAA and cannot be changed.
